Tess what made you decide to go on this transformation journey?

“I came across Kaiser Fit on Facebook one night and started listening to Shane and it was at the most perfect time. It was like he was speaking directly to me!
 
That same day I received a call from my doctor telling me my cholesterol was a little elevated and that I needed to eat healthier and exercise. I felt that finding this program was a sign to let me know that I had to do something. My health was my main concern. I also have been doing brand ambassador work for several brands and I was not happy with my appearance.”

Before working with me and Coach Rita, what did you do to lose weight?

“I have tried so many other diets throughout my life from different Diet plans, fad diets to diet pills. They worked for a while but then I always gained the weight back and went back to the same thing over and over again.”

What was different when you started working with us?

“I knew this time I was in a different mindset. This program made me realize that it’s not a diet. It’s a way of life. Once I made up my mind to change they way I viewed things I knew this fitness program was going to work for me.”

Tess’s Fat Loss Diet

I basically eat anything and everything I wanted as long as I stay within my calories. I do not deprive myself as in the past I was always left craving things and then eventually gave in to those cravings.

BREAKFAST
 

Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal
A cup of coffee instead of a creamer filled with calories I use my Quest protein shake

Snack
 

Fruit, smoothie, nuts or protein bar

Chicken or Fish Filet Sandwiches.

Steak or Pork Chops
Meat, Veggie, and Potato or Rice

Favourite cheat meal?

“I don’t look at it as a cheat meal because I eat whatever I like as long as I just stay within my calories. If I know ahead of time that something is going to be high in calories than I may eat less calories the day before or the day after. For example, my husband likes to take me for sushi dinner so on those days I eat less so I can eat more of the sushi.”

Tess’s Motivation

“My main motivation is my health! I have three sons and I want to make sure that I am here to someday meet my grandchildren. My mom passed away before I had children and never got to meet my sons. I don’t want that to happen to me.

My continued motivation came once I started to see results. Now people are asking me how I lost 38 lbs. That is when I decided to do my 3under3 videos in the hopes that it will inspire others and answer their questions.

Fat Burning Exercises

“Before doing the Dream Body workout I was going to the gym twice a week. I did the treadmill and sometimes took aerobics. I was really not seeing any results. Once I started doing the walking after my meals, increasing my step count and doing the workouts Rita set up for me, the inches and weight started dropping”

Did you take in supplements to help you on this journey?

“The only thing I take everyday are my multi vitamins and vitamin D. I also have an under active thyroid which I have to take a pill for every day. Before joining Kaiser Fit the dosage was almost doubled. 

Since I’ve been eating healthy and following this program my doctor reduced the milligrams of my prescription. 

My hope is to someday not have to take them at all.”
