Renee’s Transformation from being Timid to Stunning

Renee was always shy, embarrassed of herself, and lonely. Renee had no confidence in herself and her body at all. She was always the first to run away when her friends would take photos together. 

 

She was 45 pounds overweight and had tried every single method of losing weight with no luck.

Her sister asked her to be her bridesmaid and she said no. But then she felt awful and decided to go on a transformation journey in 90 days to develop the confidence to be able to be her sister’s bridesmaid…

And she did! 

How much weight did you lose?

Renee, what made you decide to go on this transformation journey?

“Honestly, my initial reason why I wanted to lose weight was my sister’s wedding. Over the past few years, I gained over 45 lbs from my original weight. I was only weighing 122 pounds in my teens. I went on a downward spiral during a 5 year period where my weight gain was rapid and before I knew it, I couldn’t recognize myself anymore. 

 

I forgot to take care of myself and let myself go…

 

When my sister asked me to become her bridesmaid I was happy and honored to be by her side as she got married… But It struck me that I couldn’t let people see me this big! It would be embarrassing… So I said no…

 

You might be asking why would I be embarrassed? 

 

For one, none of my family members are overweight, not even one had an experience like mine…I was the only overweight one.  And yeah I admit that I really did let myself go. 

 

Secondly, all because I was broken-hearted 5 years ago because my first boyfriend was unfaithful. I really thought he was the one I would spend the rest of my life with. 

 

To think that I was always self-conscious then… I went to the gym, I had a proper diet and I did everything for us to work out… Still, he cheated on me.

 

After that, I just didn’t care anymore… 

 

I thought Because “even if you do your best to stay in shape and be the best version of yourself, some people will still walk away from you… So what’s the purpose of staying in shape?” 

 

I’ll just let go! eat whatever I want and do whatever I want to do…

 

And there I was 5 years later… Single, lonely,  on the path to becoming obese, and with a sad sister, that just wants me to be her bridesmaid …

 

But to make the long story short, my very beautiful sister convinced me to say yes… And my journey to losing weight before her wedding started…  

 

Side note… I had 3 months before her wedding. So I needed an effective program that would help me achieve my goal size in that short period of time.”

 

Before working with us, what did you do to lose weight?

“During the 5 years where I gained all the weight, I did try to snap out of it and get back in shape. Unfortunately, though, nothing worked for me. Here’s the long list of the previous things I’ve tried….

Renee's Fat Loss Diet

BREAKFAST

Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal mixed with Quest Protein and almond milk. 

Absolutely delicious! 

I also had a cup of coffee with stevia (natural sweetener)

 

BREAKFAST

SNACK

Fruit Smoothie, and some nuts OR protein bar

LUNCH

Chicken or Fish Filet Sandwiches. I used low-fat cheese with some lower calorie sauces which I rotated daily to keep things fresh!

 

DINNER

This changed a lot as I tried to make this the most enjoyable meal of the day.  

I alternated from meals of Coach Shanes cookbook which included:
Meatball Subs

Steak and Baked Potato

Pasta 

Chicken Wraps

 

DESSERT

I loved ending my night by having healthy ice cream (usually half a tub of Halo Top Ice Cream)

 

Favourite cheat meal?

 

“I basically eat anything and everything I want as long as I stay within my calories. But my most favorite cheat food would be 2  full slices of red velvet cake!”

Renee’s Motivation

“I told my sister that I was going to go back to my old size in my teenage years…She told me I was crazy and that we should have been more realistic. She wanted me to get a dress for my current size.

But I told her that I was serious about this and that I was going to do it.

“I Promise I AM going to do this!” I told her.

That promise was all I needed to motivate myself and stay on track. I did not want to let my sister or myself down. 

 

Not only did I achieve my size goals at the end of the program, but I also learned self-love, so that’s a great bonus!”

Did you find yourself falling off the plan at all?

“There’s a lot of time that I just wanted to give up and just go back to my old habits… Especially during the first 2 weeks… Coach Shane told me that we would have to fix my metabolism first and find my true calorie level before we can move on to the next phase… I was quite hesitant to continue honestly because for 1 full month I was just eating and eating and I’m not losing weight at all…

 

But when phase one was completed… 

I was shocked every time I stepped on the scale… This program completely blew me away! Fatwas falling off my body faster than any other program I have ever used. “

 

 

Did you take in supplements to help you on this journey?

“Yes, I take Queen fury every time I work out. The program Coach Shane had personalized for me to achieve my goals was super simple and easy to follow.
