How much weight did you lose?

“I started my journey with Kaiserfit on March 13th, 2020 and I have lost 14 pounds.”

 

Rabia, what made you decide to go on this transformation journey?

“I had nothing to lose except the weight. I could see my clothes fit too tight in my belly and upper back. Reducing back and belly fat were my goals with this program. I needed to change how I eat because my routine was all about skipping meals and not really paying attention to how healthy my diet was. When I did eat, I’d feel bloated and the food would just sit in my belly for hours without feeling like it was digesting properly. I felt tired all of the time.”

 

Before working with us, what did you do to lose weight?

“Exercising for the past 22 years and taking too good to be true diet pills that I should have known better would not work, such as papaya pills. Generally starving myself. I gained all the weight back and could not maintain the weight loss. Some beach body workouts by Debbie Siebers and brazil buttlift. Tae-bo was my first workout video and allowed me to get healthy. After that I did yoga, a lot of dance videos, belly dancing, brazil buttlift, Zuzka Light on youtube and Tracy Anderson.”

 

What was different when you started working with us?

 

 “Using MyFitnessPal to track my calories and macros. Inputting real life recipes to track caloric intake accurately to obtain the desired results.”

 

Rabia's Fat Loss Diet

“An egg with a slice of toast for break fast or a protein shake with an egg.

 


Lunch consisted of high protein containing meals such as my chicken, mushroom, spinach alfredo or my chicken, bell pepper, mushroom, spinach pasta.

 

Dinner consisted of family recipes with a roti. For example, karahi chicken, lamb karahi, meatball curries, chicken or lamb biriyanis, or lentil curries. They all range from 250 to 450 calories depending on the combination.

 

Desserts ranged from full out junk food to actual desserts. Lays chips, cheesies, Jos Louis cakes, peanut M&M’s, junior mints, Kitkat, ice cream, tiramisu and chocolate, vanilla or red velvet cake.”


 

                           Favourite Cheat Meal ?

 

 

 “It’s not really a meal, but chips followed with a whole chocolate bar.”

Rabia’s Motivation

“Motivation mainly came from the possibility that I could, theoretically, lose a pound a week, as well as how my clothes fit. It didn’t happen in real time, but the anticipation of what will I weigh depending on what I have done in the past week.  Sticking to my calories wasn’t always easy, but when I did, I could see the difference as well as feel it. This program was asking to fit anything I wanted to eat within my daily caloric intake, so I didn’t feel like I was cheating other than going a little over my calories.”

“Mainly walking to complete my steps for the day. Two Tracy Anderson workouts that helped in sculpting my muscles. Lastly, Core conditioning moves I’ve learned over the years that stem from belly dancing.”

“Trust in the process. It takes time and patience and it will not happen overnight, but it definitely will work as long as you stick with the principles and keep daily logs and weekly weigh-ins.”
